Cecilia Huang(M.S. University of South Carolina, Ph.D., University of Miami) is a Research Project Manager and Senior Analyst at the Institute for Health, Health Care Policy, and Aging Research. Her major responsibilities involve data management and statistical analyses of the MarketScan Commercial Claims & Encounters Database and Medicaid Analytic Extract Files (MAX) for studies in mental health care among privately as well as publicly insured population. Previously, she was a Research Analyst at the Institute’s Center for State Health Policy where she managed and analyzed healthcare claims and other administrative data for research projects focusing in disparities in access to care and the quality of health care. Her previous experiences include data management and analysis at the South Carolina Department of Education and student advising and counseling at Wayne State University in Michigan.
