Daniel Lam is a medical student at Rutgers, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School working under the guidance of Dr. Daniel B. Horton. He previously earned a B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from University of California, Davis. In university, he served as a psychiatric medical assistant and clinic coordinator at a student-run free clinic and as co-president of an innovative homelessness prevention organization. Prior to medical school, he gained exposure to healthcare innovation at a medical device venture capital firm. His research interests include mental health, medical innovation, and novel therapeutics & care modalities. Daniel currently leads the Biomedical Entrepreneurial Network and Psychiatry Student Interest Group at Rutgers RWJMS. In his spare time, he enjoys fashion/concert photography, music discovery & curation, spending quality time with friends, and dancing involuntarily to good music.
