Jenny Sun is an Adjunct Faculty member within the Rutgers Center for Pharmacoepidemiology and Treatment Science (PETS). She is currently an Epidemiologist within Safety Surveillance Research at Pfizer, where she leads the design and implementation of post-approval safety studies across Pfizer’s portfolio.
Jenny is a pharmacoepidemiologist by training. She received her PhD in the Program in Pharmacoepidemiology at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where she conducted research with the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Then, Jenny was a Pyle Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Population Medicine at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute, where she led drug safety studies using causal inference methods. Her research primarily focused on leveraging healthcare databases to evaluate medication use and safety, with a particular interest in pediatric and perinatal pharmacoepidemiology, and advancing methods in pharmacoepidemiology.
