Melanie Rua

About
Melanie Rua, PharmD, MPH is a Research Associate at the Center for Pharmacoepidemiology and Treatment
Science. She is a licensed pharmacist who has worked in both a hospital and community pharmacy practice
setting. She received additional training in epidemiological and statistical research methods at the Rutgers
School of Public Health. As a healthcare professional, she has sought to understand and improve patient
health outcomes and ensure medication safety. She continues her work in support of improving population
health through data analysis and project management activities at PETS.
