About
Robby is a current PhD student at Rutgers School of Public Health and a graduate fellow of CERobs Consulting, LLC under Dr. Cindy Girman. He previously earned a double Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and Religious Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to the PhD, Robby worked on a variety of basic and translational research projects as both a research assistant and lab manager–projects ranging from optimizing drug delivery with antibodies, to smoking cessation, to molecular mechanisms of Alzheimer’s disease and ALS. Robby obtained his MPH in Epidemiology from Rutgers while working on elucidating risk and resilience for Alzheimer’s disease in older African Americans, focusing on polypharmacy and cardiovascular comorbidities. His research interests are focused on chronic diseases and medication use that may relate to neuropsychological or neurocognitive outcomes. In his spare time, Robby enjoys lifting weights, roasting his own coffee beans, and finding new countries to solo travel through.
