Tania Atanassova is a medical student at Rutgers, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School working under the guidance of Dr. Daniel Horton. She previously earned a BA in Genetics from Rutgers University, School of Arts and Sciences, and an MS in Biomedical Sciences from Rutgers, School of Graduate Studies. Her research interests include understanding the interplay between gut microbiome composition and regulation of the immune system.
